Visit of the journalist of one of the largest daily newspapers in Japan Asahi Simbun Kunisua Norito to the International Radioecology Laboratory ChC

On January 17, 2012 International Radioecology Laboratory (IRL) of the Chornobyl Center was visited by the journalist of Japanese newspaper “Asahi Simbun” Kunisua Norito. During the interview with Director General ChC Mikhail Bondarkov the activities of ChC, joint projects with IAEA and the prospects of ChC participation in international researches were discussed.

An excursion around IRL for the guest was conducted by the Senior Research Fellow Julia Maklyuk, during the excursion the main activities of the laboratory were presented, the questions about ongoing projects were covered. Japanese journalist asked questions about the Chornobyl zone, about the IRL partners and plans of cooperation with foreign colleagues.
