Representatives of the Safety Analysis Laboratory participated in the workshop “GRS Codes – Development, Validation and Application”

Within the framework of scientific and technical cooperation with Middle and Eastern Europe, the workshop “GRS Codes – Development, Validation and Application” was organized by GRS (Germany) in Garching, Germany, on October 24-26, 2005. The latest developments and modifications of ATHLET, ATHLET-CD, COCOSYS and other GRS codes have been presented and discussed, as well as the results of the codes’ practical application for safety analyses in support of NPPs operation and regulatory activities. Experts of the Safety Analysis Laboratory have presented the report “Experience of ATHLET calculation code use and validation in the Chornobyl Center”.
