Participation of the Chornobyl Center experts in the 7th meeting of the Environmental Modelling for Radiation Safety (EMRAS) Working Group

The 7th meeting of the Urban Remediation Working Group on the assessment of the urban areas contaminated with dispersed radionuclides will be held from 18 to 20 April, 2007, within Vienna (Austria) in the framework of the Environmental Modelling for Radiation Safety (EMRAS) program of the IAEA.

The following experts of the Chornobyl Center are invited to participate in the meeting: Mr. Sergii P. Gaschak, Deputy Director for Science of the International Radioecology Laboratory; Mr. Andriy N. Arkhipov, Senior Researcher of Radioecological Research Department, who will report on the calculation models and forecasting of radiation environment under the conditions of urbanized landscape, their adequacy, reliability and efficiency.
