Identification of Rivne NPP Unit 1 Facilities Covered by The Symptom-Based Emergency Operating Instructions

Project objectives:
- Development of data on identification of the facilities covered by the symptom-based EOIs for Rivne NPP Unit 1.
- Development of a response to the State Expert Assessment Service’s comments on the analytical justification of the Rivne NPP Unit 1 symptom-based EOIs.
- Development of a task order for completion of analytical justification of the symptom-based EOIs.
The following activities were included into the scope of work provided by the task order:
- review of the State Expert Assessment Service’s comments on analytical justification of Rivne NPP Unit 1 symptom-based EOIs and preparation of a response;
- completing the list of facilities used within the scope of the symptom-based EOIs;
- identification of measuring instruments/channels used within the scope of the symptom based EOIs and their basic characteristics;
- development of a detailed technical specification for the facilities covered by the symptom-based EOIs.
The work was an integral element of the process for the symptom-based EOIs introduction. The developed documents were included into the set of documentation for Rivne NPP Unit 1 symptom-based EOIs.
