Chornobyl Center will help Iraq to establish radiochemical laboratories

As a party to the consortium with Lokmis (Lithuania), the Chornobyl Center has won the European Commission’s tender for the assistance in the equipment of a radiochemical laboratory and establishment of a mobile radiochemical laboratory on the Al-Tuwaitha site in Iraq.

According to the terms of reference, the consortium shall develop technical specifications and cost assessment for the equipment of a radiochemical laboratory and technical specifications, design and cost assessment for the establishment of a mobile laboratory.

The activities shall be preformed during 9 months from the effective date of relevant contract.
