Chornobyl Center managers took part in Annual Symposium of World Nuclear Association (WNA)

More than 500 nuclear experts gathered in Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London on September 7-9, 2005 to participate in the 30th Annual Symposium “Challenges of the Nuclear Renaissance – The Future is Now”.

In the course of 30 years, the Annual WNA Symposium has become a premier international event for the nuclear power facilities.

The following subjects were discussed at the Symposium’s sectional sessions:

– Prospects for nuclear power;
– WNA Market Report. The Global Nuclear Fuel Market: Nuclear Fuel Supply and Demand 2005-2030;
– Attracting investment for the growth of nuclear power;
– Challenges of the nuclear renaissance: the key role of nuclear safety;

– Uranium supply prospects;
– Developments in fuel cycle services;
