Activities under the Contract with NOVARKA Consortium
Client: NOVARKA Consortium, international
Objective: performance of ordered works
During the year, within the framework of contract NKA 400 0009/08/2008 (dated 19.12.2008), the Chornobyl Center experts performed works under specific tasks, namely:
- estimating total activity of radioactive alpha- and beta- airborns in air samples (n=1463);
- measurements of 137Cs content in organisms of the Consortium staff (n=63);
- analysis of 239Pu content in biosamles (n=63).
During 2014 and within the framework of contract NKA 400 0009/08/2008 (dated December 19, 2008), experts of the Chornobyl Center performed the following works per specific tasks:
- estimation of the total activity of radioactive alpha and beta airborne in air samples (n=1711);
- measurement of 137Cs concentrations in human body of NOVARKA staff (n=69);
- analysis of 239Pu concentrations in biosamples (n=68).
The research results were handed to the Customer.
