Slavutych hosted a municipal power management workshop on March 12, 2008

On March 12, 2008, the Chornobyl Center for Nuclear Safety, Radioactive Waste and Radioecology arranged the workshop “Municipal Power Management” involving representatives of the State Administration in Kyiv Region, Administraions of Housing and Communal Services, Slavutych Executive Committee and guests from Germany.

The workshop discussed potential concepts, strategies and programs targeted at implementation of energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in a municipal economy, as well as the ones currently implemented by local self-government authorities in Ukraine, and in Slavutych in particular.

Svitlana Chesnokova, Head of Information and Analytical Department, briefed the guests on the activities of the Chornobyl Center.
